The project will involve the complete restoration of the existing courthouse building - a Protected Structure - and the provision of a new landscaped courtyard and cafe, extending the streetscape of Portumna into the site to provide additional high quality public realm.

Internally the historic fabric is to be conserved and restored whilst improving the thermal performance of the existing building and decarbonising its energy supply. A new public arts space is created internally together with a remote working hub and ancillary meeting spaces.
